He is also the only player in NFL history to have a kickoff return for a touchdown with five different teams.
Community Service: Always having a heart for community service, Allen formed the Healthy Kids Klub (HKK) in 2003 and helped begin the fight to eradicate childhood obesity across America. He helped begin the push for youth to fight for better school lunches and to have recess placed back in school. Within the first five years, HKK helped pass out over 1500 backpacks to children filled with program and school supplies, a HKK work out CD and healthy recipes for easily prepared food. The program was implemented in Atlanta, San Francisco, Phoenix, New York, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Oakland, Dallas and New Orleans.
Soon after Hurricane Katrina, a group of volunteers lead by HKK and Ushers New Look Foundation went to New Orleans to help revitalize an entire neighborhood block. This was one of the beginning rebuilding factors for those affected by the hurricane to move back into their homes and neighborhoods.
Part of its nationwide expansion, HKK developed exercise programs with 33 professional athletes (Professional Athletes Council) that were implemented into over 100 schools across the country and those attending MLB San Diego Padres, NBA Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Falcons games.
Today you can see the program implemented within the NFL as “NFL Play 60” and with the Atlanta Falcons as “Falcon Fitness Zones”.
Post NFL: Retiring from the NFL in 2009, he joined Cocke Finkelstein, Inc. (2010-2022), an asset management group as a principle partner. Based in Atlanta, the company specializes in apartment acquisitions and asset management of properties for their investors across the country. Recently the company, merged with RPM Living and currently manages or owns over 100,000 apartment units or over 192 complexes.
2013 was a huge year for Allen. In that year he first became the Executive Director of CF Cares, Inc. (2013-2022). CF Cares’ mission is to help revitalize low-income neighborhoods. CF Cares is the non-profit arm of Cocke Finkelstein, Inc. The program helps low to moderate-income families have the opportunity to fulfill the American dream of owning a home. A partnership with Bank of America and Warrick Dunn Charities formed to renovate thirty asset-donated homes. The mission was to sell the homes at a discounted rate to police officers, firemen and women and veterans. The program also donated
ten percent of the homes mortgage free to the wounded warriors programs and other programs for people of service.
Also in 2013, he became the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Contracting Services (CapCon). Capital Contracting Services is a full-service, insured and bonded general contracting company with over 4 decades of professional experience. The management team and skilled workforce have provided superior results for commercial and industrial projects in 15 states. Its focus is mainly residential and multi-unit projects.
To handle commercial projects for the government and Department of Transportation, The Rossum Group (TRG), a commercial construction company was formed later during the later portion of 2013. TRG specializes in major projects such as but not limited to: water treatment plants, libraries and multi level parking garages.
In 2016, Allen formed a nationally recognized USA Track and Field non-profit organization called ATL Zoom Athletics (Atl Zoom). The select team of 9 to18 year old athletes travel across the country to display their talents in track and field. So far, they have been crowned National Champion 83 times and have set numerous National records. As of today, 86 athletes have received over $20 million dollars of scholarships to colleges and universities. To make sure philanthropy was instilled in the club, an athlete lead non-profit called “Zoomin-Into Action” was created. He participated in many youth sports, including soccer, baseball, football, karate, judo, and more. In his junior year in high school, he was encouraged by his peers to join the wrestling team. After wrestling for only two years, he developed his skills to become one of the top athletes in the community. In his senior year, he won many wrestling tournaments and was ranked in the top 8 in California, one of the most challenging wrestling states in the country. Upon graduation, he did not plan to attend college. To his surprise, he was awarded a $300.00 scholarship by his coaches, who encouraged him to continue his education. In honor of his coaches, he continued his education and eventually became a high school teacher and wrestling coach.
He has coached many championship teams, individual wrestling champions, state champions, and All-Americans. Eventually, his mentors encouraged him to discover more significant ways to give back to the community. Inspired by his coaches and mentors, he accessed many resources and allocated over $50,000.00 in scholarships to student-athletes in the East Los Angeles community. In 1999, he was named LA Times Wrestling Coach of the Year.
In 1988 Henry was wrestling in college when his college coach received a phone call from Hollywood. There was a new movie being produced that needed high school wrestlers. Without any professional training or acting experience, Henry and his teammates auditioned to be in the movie, hoping that their wrestling skills would be enough to secure a part. Well, it worked, and six months later, he began his career in entertainment when he was featured in his first acting role as a high school wrestler in the Walt Disney movie titled "Spooner." This project changed his life, and for more than 30 years, Mr. Priest has served the entertainment industry as an actor, casting director, talent agent, and producer of film, television, and live events.
Early in his career, Henry produced many live, mixed-martial arts events when the sport was in its infancy. His company, Modern Gladiator Productions, produced many live competitions at some of the best locations in Los Angeles (including Battle at the Beach), where they placed an octagon on the sand at Venice Beach, California. Many of today's UFC legends fought and attended his events to establish their record in hopes of making it in the UFC. In addition, he produced training seminars with many UFC competitors, including Tito Ortiz, Frank Shamrock, Marco Ruas, Ken Shamrock, Pedro Rizzo, Bas Rutton, Guy Metzger, Joe Charles, UFC referee Larry Landless, and many more.
Over the years, Henry has established himself as the go-to person to produce scenes that require wrestling. He has written, directed, choreographed, and cast wrestling scenes in international and national commercials for companies such as Nike, Adidas, SBC Global, and others. Henry recently served as a wrestling consultant to a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event titled "Legendary" starring Devon Grey (Dexter), Danny Glover, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson, John Cena (WWE), and Tyler Poser (Teenwolf). Recently, Henry co-produced the wrestling Documentary titled "Veritas."
Mr. Priest served as Executive Producer of the 44th Annual NWCA All-Star Wrestling Match. The event was broadcast in 40 million homes on the Big Ten Network and featured some of the nation's top wrestlers as well as mixed martial arts legends Mark Munoz, Yuria Faber, Randy Couture, Rampage Jackson, actors Billy Baldwin, and Nate Parker. Henry's most recent feature film project, titled "Beyond the Mat," stars Sara Fletcher (Maxim Magazine), Mark Hapka (Ghost Whisperers), John Wynn (CD USA) and features Ken Shamrock (UFC Hall of Fame member and World Wrestling Entertainment) and Kurt Angle (US Olympic Wrestling Champion and WWE Superstar). The film is edited by Academy Award winner Scott Conrad (Rocky), with former Paramount Pictures senior marketing executive Susan Wrenn spearheading the marketing team. The project has received endorsement and support from USA Wrestling (the governing body of the US Olympic Wrestling Team), the National High School Coaches Association, the National Wrestling Coaches Association, Beat the Streets, the Children's Age Group Wrestling Association, and many more media outlets supporting the sport.
As a casting director, Henry cast international commercials for Nike, California Produce, Adidas, and America Online. Most recently, he cast a feature film starring the legendary rapper Melow Man Ace and Jesse Garcia titled "Rhythm and Honey" by Lions Gate Entertainment. Recently, Mr. Priest was brought on board the 310 Model and Talent agency to develop a diversity division and spearhead the sports division to provide the opportunity for athletes to participate in commercials and feature films. Throughout his career, Mr. Priest has introduced over 100 athletes to the film and TV community.
Mr. Priest's work has been showcased all over the world, including some of the most prestigious film festivals such as Festival De Cannes in France, Tribeca Film Festival, New York, AFI Fest in Hollywood, and in over 50 film festivals worldwide and across major television networks.
Mr. Priest serves as the Executive Producer of Production for the National High School Coaches Association. In that capacity, he is looking to develop sports-related film and television projects that represent stories from our student-athletes across the country. He has also served as a motivational speaker for the NHSCA, traveling across the country and presenting leadership workshops for athletes and coaches.
Henry continually reaches out to serve his community and to provide resources for others to prosper and learn. As an advocate for independent artists and filmmakers of color, he is the Founder of the Nosotros American Latino Film Festival. He produced the Future Estrellas Young Latino Performers Conference, presented by Walt Disney. Mr. Priest is the Founder of the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival, an event that has showcased over 3,000 films since its' inception in 2008. Each year the event hosts between 15,000 – 30,000 guests. As the Founder of the festival, Mr. Priest has secured over 300 sponsorships with some of the biggest brands and local businesses.
Over the years, Mr. Priest has established many relationships with studio executives, distribution companies, and talent in front and behind the camera. He also serves on the board of the Silver Lake Film Festival, the Screen Actors Guilds Ethnic Employment Opportunities Committee, and the Stunt Performers of Color Committee. He is also a member of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers and serves on a committee for State Senator Ron Calderon to create tax incentives to help productions in California. In addition, he served on the Entertainment Committee for Assemblymen Mike Davis. Mr. Priest is a graduate of Whittier College and serves on the Alumni Board of Directors of his Alma Mater.
